Get a Doctor’s Diagnosis:
The symptoms of yeast infections are non-specific, which means that other conditions could be causing the same symptoms, so it is important to get a proper diagnosis before proceeding with any treatment. To do this your doctor may scrape a specimen from the affected area for lab testing. Identification of yeast under a microscope is the most accurate way to establish the diagnosis.
